Wesley College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college located in Dover, which is the capital of the US state of Delaware, also being the state's second largest city, having a population estimated at a number of nearly 36 000 inhabitants, during the 2007 census. Wesley College was established in 1873, first starting as a preparatory school, under the name of Wilmington Conference Academy, and, according to its motto, is `Delaware's Oldest Private College`. It currently offers its students a total of 30 bachelor degree programs and four associate degree programs, including master's degrees in nursing, education, business administration and environmental science.
Wesley's athletic teams are known as the Wolverines, and they compete in NCAA Division III, in the Capital Athletic Conference. Their distinctive colors are blue and white.
